We’re incredibly excited to welcome the super talented Christopher Sabat to Madman Anime Festival! We can’t wait to hear what the Prince of all Saiyans has been up to since his last trip to Australia.

Currently tallying well over 650 roles spanning video games, anime, television and film, Christopher R. Sabat (@VoiceOfVegeta on Twitter) has been an active part of the entertainment industry since 1998.

Starting his career as the Voice Director of the hit anime series Dragon Ball Z, he is best known as the show’s antihero Vegeta, and Piccolo the brooding green father figure. Christopher also voiced many other characters in DBZ including Yamcha, Mr. Popo, Kami, Korin, Burter, Shenron, Zarbon, Guru, and many more.

His other popular voice roles include Zoro (One Piece), Alex Luis Armstrong (Fullmetal Alchemist), Elfman (Fairy Tail), Roronoa, Ayame Sohma (Fruits Basket), Saiga Tatsumi (Speed Grapher), Kurogane (Tsubasa Chronicles), Daisuke Jigen (Lupin III), Father Tres (Trinity Blood), Braun (Steins;Gate), Giroro (Sgt Frog), Rundas (Metroid Prime 3: Corruption), Garterbelt (Panty and Stocking), Sakaki (Kenichi), Masa (My Bride is a Mermaid), Saito (Darker Than Black), Woermann (Attack on Titan), and Alex D (Deus Ex: Invisible War).

Most recently, he can be heard as All Might in My Hero Academia, Kyoma Mabuchi in Dimension W, Yano Sukehiro in Black Clover, Rath, Geoff and Attikus in Gearbox’s Battleborn, Batou in the Ghost In the Shell: Arise series, Goro Sasabe in Free! Eternal Summer, Sakuya Togane in the second season of Psycho-Pass, Christophe Giacometti in Yuri On Ice, Jason in Tokyo Ghoul, and Mondo in Danganronpa.

In 2004, he founded Okratron 5000, a voice over production studio based in Dallas, Texas which he continues to run to this day. When he’s not in the studio, he likes to play with his daughters, make electronic music, and buy vintage synthesizers and airline glassware on eBay.

To see him in one of his rare film appearances, you can find him opposite of Michael Madsen in the ridiculous horror film Lumberjack Man or visit his page on Behind the Voice Actors or IMDB to check out his full list of credits. You can also keep up with his latest happenings by following him on Twitter!
